Shiro really doesn't have a reason for venturing into the forest as often as he does - he doesn’t need wood for his fire, or venison for his table. The villagers avoid the forest like the plague, but Shiro goes because he feels a sense of peace. And he wants to catch a glimpse of the mysterious watcher who's as curious about him as he is about them....
